Our story

Bram, Alex, and Remco, who used to work as niche recruiters, started HirePort in 2021.

We wanted to compete with the big recruitment firms and do better than them. Stop charging unfairly high fees, stop hiring recruiters who don’t know what they’re doing, and stop doing business in a way that’s outright annoying.

Recruiters at our niche agency worked with the very best talent out there. Period. But due to a lack of being able to provide the hiring volumes as a small agency, were turned away by gatekeepers of well-known companies where we wanted to introduce them.

Can you imagine having a working talent strategy as a recruiter that brings in dozens of great candidates, but not being able to offer them the right job?

We figured we couldn’t be the only niche agency with this problem

We found that the best recruiters are those who have years of experience and a large network. These rock stars start their own businesses. But most of the time, they don’t get to work for the coolest companies.

When we looked into it more, we found that recruitment management is becoming a bigger problem for companies. Recruiters have a bad name, their current PSL doesn’t deliver anymore, and it’s hard to find the right recruiter out of 100k options.

Even worse, they don’t have time to actually manage these recruiters, and their goals for both quality and quantity of hires are getting harder and harder to reach. But don’t have a way out.

You guessed it; HirePort was born. One recruitment platform that brings together the most skilled niche recruiters and makes it easy for companies to work with them.
